Jack grew up in a law enforcement family. Jack’s father, after serving as a World War II South Pacific U.S. Marine, became a career police officer, following the career path of Jack’s grandfather.  Jack was raised in the Hyde Park section of Boston, and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 1977.  He then worked his way through both Boston College (‘81) and New England School of Law (’86).  He and his wife, Ann, a full-time nurse for 30 years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, have been married since 1986, and have three wonderful children, Sean, Ryan and Jaclyn.  Jack and his family have lived in Needham for almost 20 years, and have been active in the community and youth sports.

Following law school, Jack became an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston from 1987 to 1995.  He was assigned to the Suffolk County Drug Unit, where he successfully investigated and tried hundreds of cases against high-level drug dealers and their associates.  In 1993 Jack was appointed a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney assigned to the Organized Crime Narcotic Drug Task Force, which targeted organized drug dealing organizations operating in the Eastern United States.  Since 1995 Jack has maintained a successful law practice in Dedham, and during this time, due to his reputation and experience, several District Attorneys’ Offices throughout the state have called him in as a special prosecutor.  Jack has 24 years of courtroom trial experience as both a prosecutor and criminal trial lawyer.
